Yoga is a mysterious science. It is continuously progressing from ancient time in India. We have different natures in our evolution. From childhood we want to get knowledge to be happy, this knowledge may be about schooling, getting jobs, discovering things etc., but we remain unknown to the power of our mind. We mostly spend our time for ridiculous things for being in emotions like jealousy, anger, attachment etc.

Mahrshi Patanjali says “Yoga chitta vratti nirodhah” means yog is the inhibition of modification of mind.

Patanjali discovered different types of technique to control our mind. One of the popular technique is Ashtanga yoga. It include Yam, Niyama, Asana, Pranayam, Prtyahara, Dharna, Dhyana and Samadhi. Another discipline of yoga is Hatha Yoga,its propounded by Shiv Shanker and Swami Matsendra Nath, it is completed in seven steps these are Shatkarma, Asana, Mudra, Pratyahara, Pranayama, Dhyana, Smadhi.
